A Provider Who Truly Understands
I'm Jessica Fleeger, APRN, PMHNP-BC, and I've been a nurse for 19 years, including the past 4 years as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Throughout my career, I've seen how often women put everyone else's needs before their own, and how difficult it can be to find a provider who truly understands the unique challenges that come with different stages of life.
I founded Ruma Behavioral Health to create a space where women can talk openly with another woman who understands the emotional impact of caregiving, motherhood, and life's many transitions. I have a special interest in supporting women through fertility and IVF journeys, the postpartum period, hysterectomy recovery, perimenopause, menopause, and PMDD — recognizing that hormonal changes and life events can significantly affect mental health.
I also have a passion for caring for healthcare professionals. After nearly two decades in nursing, I understand the emotional toll, compassion fatigue, burnout, and high expectations that come with caring for others. My goal is to provide a safe, confidential environment where those who spend their lives helping others can receive the support they deserve.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe in listening first, treating the whole person, and partnering with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that supports lasting mental wellness. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, ADHD, or a major life transition — you don't have to do it alone.

Treatment is always a partnership. We'll work together to build an individualized plan that may include medication management, evidence-based therapy techniques, and lifestyle strategies — all designed to support lasting mental wellness on your terms.
